​Formby Photo Group has been in existence since 1969, the days of manual cameras and rolls of film.  Lots has changed since then, and whether you take your photos with film, an expensive digital camera, a phone, or a drone, you’ll find like-minded people here.  We are united by our enjoyment of photography and a wish to improve in our art, whatever genre that might be.

Programmed meetings usually take place on the first and third Thursday evenings in the month
from 8pm to 10pm, at Ravenmeols Community Centre, Park Road, Formby L37 6EW. 
​We take a break from June to August.  Any member is welcome to organise a photoshoot or other meeting outside of these meetings and invite interested members to join them.  Our membership fee is £40 per year.
